The peaks of Roc d’Orzival, Becs de Bosson and Sex de Marinda rise above Grimentz; Sex de Marinda is also located in the immediate vicinity of the village.

The surrounding area of Grimentz includes Zènèvrec, Arête de Sorebois, Pointe de la Tsevalire and Le Toûno.

Lake Moiry lies close to Grimentz, just a few minutes from the village; its turquoise waters attract visitors.

In summer, there are numerous hikes in the surrounding open landscapes.

Transport

Grimentz is connected to public transport by regular PostBus services via Vissoie to Sierre railway station. There are also direct connections from Zinal via Grimentz to the Moiry reservoir.
