Culture and History
The Kornhaus in Rorschach was built between 1746 and 1749 for the Princely Abbey of St. Gallen. It has been under federal heritage protection since 1958.
The Kornhaus is home to the Museum im Kornhaus, an interactive museum covering natural history, local politics, and educational topics. It presents houses from the Stone and Bronze Ages, an oven, tools, and household equipment. The museum also includes more than 100 interactive educational stations.
