Getting there
Chaumont can be reached by road from Neuchâtel, Enges and Savagnier. The Funiculaire La Coudre–Chaumont funicular reaches the summit in 13 minutes, overcoming an elevation gain of 570 metres.
History
The Chaumont funicular began operating in 1910 and contributed to the development of tourism on the upper slopes of Neuchâtel. The Tour panoramique de Chaumont dates from 1912 and is located at the arrival point of the La Coudre–Chaumont funicular. Despite the development of tourism, Chaumont mountain has retained its rural character.
Leisure
A large playground is located next to the upper funicular station. The ProFuni leisure area has tables, barbecue facilities and a pétanque court. Parc Aventure Chaumont also offers outdoor laser tag.

Trails
The Sentier du Temps is an approximately 4.5-kilometre educational trail in Chaumont covering the history of the Earth. The bike park is a freeride trail for experts between Chaumont and Neuchâtel.
