Winter

Nature
The Isovaara Nature Reserve is located in Övertorneå. It was established to protect natural values and for recreation. Röda Kvarn is a historic entertainment venue in Övertorneå. Aunesgården is an old local heritage and cultural farm with an exhibition on the history and culture of the Torne Valley. Övertorneå has a rich culture with a mix of Sámi, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian traditions.

Övertorneå is located on Route 99 between Haparanda and Pajala, directly on the border with Finland. The town can be reached by bus. The nearest Swedish airport is Luleå Airport, and the nearest railway station is in Haparanda.
