The Frauenstein ski lift between Oberkalbach, Sparhof and Heubach offers skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing at approximately 535 to 600 metres. In summer, the slope is also used by paragliders for training.

Culture and History
The circular route passes the remains of the historic Wine Route. It leads past carved boundary stones associated with the former territories of Fulda and Hanau, and reaches the Oberkalbach church, a bronze memorial plaque, a rectory dating from 1737 and the old court lime tree.
Fasanerie Palace is located in the surrounding area of Oberkalbach. In the wider regional area are Schwedenschanze, Schildeck Castle Ruins and Kreuzberg Monastery. Oberkalbach also has a Protestant church within the Lukasgemeinde Kalbach parish.
