Mrzla Vodica: Hotels and accommodations

Lake Mrzla Vodica was created in 1999 by the construction of a dam between Lake Lokvarsko (Omladinsko) and the Mrzla Vodica basin. The two bodies of water are connected to each other and separated by the dam.

A 27.5-kilometre mountain biking route connects Gornje Jelenje, Platak, Cajtige, and Mrzla Vodica. After reaching Mrzla Vodica, it follows the old Lujzijana road towards Gornje Jelenje and offers views of the Risnjak massif.
