Bairbach: Chapel and Accommodation
Accommodation in Bairbach
Bairbach is a hamlet in Telfs, Tyrol. Its documented character is shaped by exposed meadows on both sides of the Wildmoosbach and a historic chapel near the Schallele farm. When choosing accommodation, the exact location matters: an address in Bairbach does not automatically mean you are near a lift, slope or ski school. Check these winter destinations and how to get there separately for your travel dates.
Chapel and Meadow Landscape
The Marian chapel near the Schallele farm is a special cultural asset of the hamlet of Telfs. It is more than 300 years old and has been restored with great care and attention to detail. These details explain its historical value but do not confirm that the interior is regularly open to visitors. If you would like to see the chapel, respect the farm grounds and check from where it is publicly accessible or visible.
The meadows that shape the landscape lie on the orographic left and right banks of the Wildmoosbach. This describes their location by the stream more precisely than a general reference to “mountain views.” For a walk, choose an existing, permitted path; meadows are not automatically open for walking. The local information does not specify a verified loop length, winter trail preparation or individual walking time.
Consider Accommodation and Excursions Carefully
A description of the “Around the Mieminger” tour mentions Bairbach on the route via Telfs and Sagl to Buchen, but this is only partially substantiated. Therefore, use an up-to-date map and a verified route description for a specific hike or bike ride. The overview page for Telfs helps put the area in geographical context. It does not replace checking the actual accommodation address in Bairbach.
If you are planning a ski holiday, compare the ski area, open lifts, snow conditions and journey from your chosen accommodation using current information from the operators. The historical and landscape facts about Bairbach do not provide a reliable distance or access information for these purposes. A hotel or holiday apartment can only be assessed for its amenities, availability and location based on the specific listing.
