Ski holiday in the French Jura

In the French Jura, forests, high plateaus and proximity to the Swiss border are all part of the character of a winter trip. Les Rousses and Métabief are good starting points for comparing downhill skiing and Nordic activities; however, the individual areas are not part of one continuous ski resort.

Weigh up downhill and cross-country skiing

Decide in advance whether lifts or longer cross-country trails are your priority, then choose your accommodation and equipment accordingly. For trips across the border, check the route, valid ski pass and required travel documents separately. Weather and visibility can change your plans for the day.
