Espace Lumière links the ski areas of Pra Loup and La Foux d’Allos. The ski area spans two different valleys, so your accommodation should suit the side you plan to ski.
Don’t assume the link will be open
If you want to spend a full day moving between Pra Loup and La Foux d’Allos, check the piste map, lift status and ski-pass conditions in advance. A weather-related closure of the link can turn one day out into two separate ski days. If you’re staying for just a weekend, it often makes more sense to choose one resort as your base and explore its pistes without lengthy transfers.
Who will benefit from the combined ski area?
The variety of sectors makes the area appealing for longer stays and for groups who enjoy comparing different runs. For families with young children or mixed ability levels, however, short distances matter more: check how the ski school, practice area, equipment hire and accommodation are situated in relation to one another. Snowparks, boardercross courses and sledging areas may offer additional activities; check their current opening hours rather than assuming they’ll be available on every visit.
