Kappl in Tyrol – Ski holidays for the whole family

Kappl is one of the largest municipalities in the idyllic Paznaun Valley in western Tyrol, and one of the preferred destinations for a ski holiday in Austria with the whole family. Sunny Mountain, Kappl’s local mountain, is a year-round tourist attraction in the Paznaun Valley, near the holiday homes in Kappl.

While Sunny Mountain is considered one of the most child- and family-friendly ski destinations in Tyrol and Austria in winter, in summer it transforms into an amusement park in the heart of the Alps. Numerous new additions further enhanced Sunny Mountain at the beginning of winter. The old surface lift on one of the slopes for children and beginners learning alpine skiing has been replaced by a SunKid conveyor belt at Sunny Mountain in Kappl. The conveyor belt is not only considerably safer and faster, but also requires less supervision, significantly reducing staff costs for the Kappl ski area. Alongside the blue run for children and beginners, Sunny Mountain offers many other attractions that have already proved very popular with the youngest ski fans in recent years.
