Graubünden offers attractive holiday jobs
The Alps are still covered in a thick blanket of snow everywhere at the moment, including in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. But in Graubünden, plans for the period after a ski holiday in Switzerland are already in full swing, as tourism in the holiday apartments and hotels around Disentis also plays a significant role in summer.
One-week internship in Switzerland
This year, Graubünden is offering its guests a unique opportunity to discover holidays in Switzerland through a one-week internship and get a behind-the-scenes look in the Alps at attractions such as the Glacier Express, Europe’s highest-altitude brewery, or Switzerland’s largest national park.

Apply to Graubünden Tourism
From January 29, 2010, Graubünden Tourism will accept applications for attractive holiday jobs in Switzerland. For the first time, in March 2010, and then once a month, Graubünden will award a holiday job in Switzerland. Working as a ranger in a national park and exploring areas that are normally inaccessible to tourists, looking over the shoulder of a driver at work on the world-famous Glacier Express, helping make skis in Disentis, or learning more about the secrets of beer brewing—all this and much more is on offer through the holiday jobs in Graubünden.
The selected candidates, chosen by the online community and a Graubünden Tourism expert jury, will simply be expected to blog about their experiences during their one-week holiday job in Switzerland. A very small price to pay for a holiday in one of the most beautiful regions of the Alps—an experience that deserves the label “priceless” and one that the lucky winners will surely be rightfully envied for.
