Family offers for a ski holiday in South Tyrol

The Eisack Valley in South Tyrol is home to six ski resorts, all of which are especially well suited to a ski holiday in Italy with children. In addition to the usual attractions for children, such as ski schools with age-appropriate lessons, miles of toboggan runs and similar activities, hotels in Brixen and the other ski resorts in the Eisack Valley have some surprises and special offers in store for families this winter. Exceptionally low prices or attractive winter extras are set to draw families with children to the ski huts in Ratschings and elsewhere in the Eisack Valley in South Tyrol over the coming weeks and months.

For a ski holiday in South Tyrol lasting at least one week, families staying at hotels in Brixen pay only half price for both accommodation and ski passes for up to two children aged 12 or under (cut-off date: 28 November 1997). If the children are under 8 (cut-off date: 28 November 2001), families pay nothing for either the hotel or ski passes during their ski holiday in Brixen. In both cases, the children must stay in their parents’ room. Brixen also offers discounts on ski lessons and ski equipment rental for children up to 12 years old. These offers are valid from 20 March 2010 until the end of the ski season in the Eisack Valley in South Tyrol.

In nearby Ratschings, the same terms apply to the family special for a ski holiday in South Tyrol as in Brixen, except that the offer ends earlier, on 11 April 2010. In return, ski equipment rental is free for children, provided that a paying parent also rents their equipment. In Ratschings, one child per parent can enjoy free ski equipment.Â
