Gut Raunerhof near Schladming with numerous events

The four-star Gut Raunerhof ski hotel in Pichl near Schladming is once again offering a range of events and special deals this winter to make a ski holiday in the Austrian Alps even more enjoyable. The Reiteralm area around Gut Raunerhof is one of the best-known ski resorts in the Alps and has earned its reputation, among other things, as a regular venue for Alpine and Nordic Ski World Cup events. There are also crowd-pleasing events such as the ski season opening on December 5 with DJ David Guetta, a celebrity race on December 18/19, and excellent facilities, with endless slopes and cross-country trails.

Gut Raunerhof has chosen the slogan “Right in the thick of it, not just along for the ride“ — and it hits the nail on the head. Few other ski hotels in Schladming or on the Reiteralm are closer to the slopes and cross-country trails. The first major event for guests at Gut Raunerhof takes place on December 5, when DJ David Guetta calls them to a big open-air concert on the Reiteralm. Alongside his well-known summer hit “When love takes over“, David Guetta will dig deep into his record collection and get the après-ski party going in Styria.

The ORF is also getting in on the action and has invited 16 Austrian celebrities to the Reiteralm for a ski casting competition, aiming to find the greatest skiing talent in a six-part casting show. The final takes place on December 18 and 19 close to Gut Raunerhof in Schladming. From ski-jumping legend Andreas Goldberger and presenter Christian Clerici to cult footballer Toni Polster, the ORF celebrity race features everyone who is anyone in Austria.
