SkiWelt Brixen im Thale
The record-breaking statistics from the mountain railways around the Wilder Kaiser show that SkiWelt Brixen im Thale is popular not only with experts. The Skiweltbahn, operated by Bergbahn Brixen and opened at the start of the season, connects the lifts on the Hohe Salve with those in Westendorf. It was used by 350,000 skiers in its very first winter, according to managing director Rudi Köck. Bergbahn Westendorf did just as well, with managing director Hansjörg Kogler pleased to welcome around 450,000 guests. This put Bergbahn Westendorf around 100,000 skiers above its projected figure.
Summer at the Wilder Kaiser

Mountaineers, hikers and cyclists appreciate the scenic beauty of SkiWelt, which offers routes suitable for all ages and ability levels. Accommodation providers such as hotels and holiday apartments in Brixen im Thale and the surrounding towns in the Brixental are geared up for holidaymakers and offer plenty of accommodation in the winter season, too.
