South Tyrol brings wine and fashion together
The ski season in South Tyrol may already be nearing its end, but that does not mean that the northernmost winter sports region has nothing more to offer in spring and beyond. The best example of this is the “Wine and Fashion Show”, taking place on May 15 (Friday) in Nals, South Tyrol. Although Nals, known as a wine village, is not a dedicated ski resort, it enjoys a particularly scenic location right on the South Tyrolean Wine Road between Bolzano and Merano, probably the best-known towns in this Italian winter sports region in the southern Alps.
The “Wine and Fashion Show” begins on the evening of May 15 at 6 p.m. with various wine tastings hosted by the hospitality industry in Nals as part of an open-air dinner. The undisputed highlight for the ladies is likely to be the fashion show, scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. in the center of Nals. But the gentlemen will also find it worthwhile to sit through the fashion show, not least because of its charming host. The program for the “Wine and Fashion Show” in Nals, which will feature numerous dance performances, will be presented by none other than Miss South Tyrol 2006.
Further information about the “Wine and Fashion Show” in Nals, the town itself and the South Tyrol region is available, among other places, on the website of the South Tyrolean Wine Road.
