SuperDévoluy and La Joue du Loup ski resorts invest heavily

The French winter sports resorts of SuperDévoluy and La Joue du Loup together boast more than 100 kilometres of pistes and seemingly endless cross-country ski trails, making this ski area one of the largest winter tourism destinations in southern France. To be fully prepared for the coming winter season, which begins in SuperDévoluy and La Joue du Loup on 20 December (Saturday), the two resorts are joining forces and planning several events together. The focus of the activities will be around the holidays between Christmas and New Year, with the aim of attracting even more winter sports enthusiasts to the south of France that week.

Alongside its two state-of-the-art snow parks for snowboarders and the mountain village of “La Joue”, the ski area in southern France plans to delight visitors above all with culinary treats from the regional cuisine. Among other things, fresh pasta called “Creusets” and vegetarian specialities known as “reilles d’ânes” (donkey ears) will feature on the menus of restaurants in SuperDévoluy and La Joue du Loup. In the mountain village of “La Joue”, children can enjoy an adventure forest, while other attractions such as ice climbing, snowmobile rides, bridges and tunnels await visitors of all ages. A multi-day stay in SuperDévoluy or La Joue du Loup, including a ski pass and bus travel, is available from as little as 108 euros.
