But the Wilder Kaiser has much more to offer than easy access. Tyrolean charm and hospitality are what make this ski area so special. The ski resorts of Söll, Scheffau, Ellmau and Going offer unforgettable ski holiday experiences. These include snow-sure slopes, night skiing and lively après-ski.

And, of course, there are lots of exciting events. One example is the “Ellmau Ski Night,” held every Monday, with fantastic skiing fun and après-ski at Stanglleit’n. The ski instructors kick off the fascinating spectacle with a flag parade, followed by a show featuring the Ellmau ski schools and nostalgic skiing. To close each “Ellmau Ski Night,” a 4,000-horsepower piste groomer makes its way down Stanglleit’n in a parade.

The “Wilder” Kaiser also has a gentle side away from the slopes. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the “Husky Days” in Söll offer romantic husky-sled rides. From the end of December, you can drive the dog sleds yourself through snow-covered forests. Söll is especially romantic during “Forest Christmas,” from December 8 to 11, 2008. The Christmas market invites you to enjoy a leisurely stroll. You can also join a torchlight hike or try a glass of Tyrolean punch.
