In addition to Olympic triathlon champion Kate Allen, other celebrities are testing the Cube Bikes, including Udo Bölts, a 12-time Tour de France participant, and sisters Christine and Anne-Sofie Noorgard. They have won the Transalp Challenge for the second time.
The celebrities are enjoying their test rides in picture-perfect weather, especially in the stunning ski area around the Hintertux Glacier. Pictures like these give you a taste of your next ski holiday. A ski holiday in the Zillertal is always an experience!
The Zillertal is known as the „most active valley in the world“. The range of leisure activities here seems almost endless. 639 km of pistes and 167 ski lifts reach altitudes of up to 3.250 m. There is a suitable run for everyone.
The ski resort of Mayrhofen is one of Austria’s most popular ski destinations. You can relax in the leisure pool with its sauna complex, or burn off some energy with ice-stock sport, ice skating, squash or tennis.
The 4 ski areas in the Zillertal - Zillertal Arena, Gerlos, Königsleiten and Zell - offer runs for every ability level: steep slopes, wide pistes or powder fields.
Wide western slopes run towards the Königsleitenspitze. Snowboarders head for the Umbrella Bar at the Fußalm X-Press, or for the powder slopes by the Falschbach chairlift, which also has a mogul run. Gerlos-Platte is ideal for beginners. Snowboarders can enjoy a fun park and halfpipe here. Gerlos-Steinwand offers intermediate runs.
The Zillertal is popular with more than just ski holidaymakers. Bikers also enjoy over 800 km of trails with stunning views of 55 peaks over 3,000 metres high.
