The Kitzsteinhorn slopes are open again in the upper glacier area. The Kitzsteinhorn ski lifts and Magnetköpfle are also open from the access points. This early start to winter is sure to get skiers, snowboarders and freeskiers excited again.

The superb ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn has plenty of variety to offer. The Roxy Glacier Park provides snowboarders and freeskiers with fantastic terrain. There’s a spot here for everyone, just the way they like it: a fascinating mountain landscape in which to unwind, or a great range of slopes and winter sports to burn off some energy. It’s all here.

The growth figures for this popular ski area speak for themselves. A 15% increase compared with the previous summer season points to an upward trend. The number of ski holidaymakers from Arab countries is also rising.

The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, which reaches an altitude of 3,203 m, offers a wild, high-alpine experience. Skiing on crystal-clear powder snow with breathtaking views of the majestic mountain scenery is an unforgettable dream for every ski holidaymaker!
The Kitzsteinhorn is considered the coolest peak in Salzburgerland. Wonderful powder snow can be found here as early as autumn! The landscape reveals its fascinating beauty in every season.

The descents are as varied as the mountain scenery. Everything is on offer, from thrilling, steep slopes to vast glacier runs. The Kitzsteinhorn’s summer snow is very popular. It even snowed repeatedly in August, allowing skiing to continue until early September. Due to a lack of snowfall, operations had been temporarily suspended.

And now the time has come again. Fresh snowfall has wrapped the Kitzsteinhorn in its white winter coat once more. Ski holidaymakers are back at the ready!
