Carezza offers reliable snow and plenty of sunshine

The Italian ski area of Carezza, at the foot of the Rosengarten, has plenty to offer. There is the beautiful Lake Carezza and, of course, lots of sunshine, even on a ski holiday. The ski lift system is being expanded with a new automatic four-seater chairlift and the “Pope” ski lift. Skiers can also look forward to new slopes from December 2008. In addition, 170 snow cannons ensure reliable snow conditions from December to April.

40 km of slopes for all ability levels are expertly groomed. There are also 2 new runs, the “Hubertus” and “Latemarwiesen” slopes. Telemark skiers, snowboarders and carving enthusiasts can also enjoy the first-class runs amid the impressive Dolomites scenery.

Cross-country skiers will also find plenty to enjoy. Carezza offers a varied network of trails. The new Antermont Snowpark is also waiting for skiers. Toboggan runs (including night tobogganing) and winter hiking trails offer plenty of ways to enjoy your free time. There is also night skiing and, of course, an appealing après-ski scene where you can relax after a day on the slopes.

The ski area's biggest highlight, however, is still the sunshine. Even in winter, Carezza averages 8 hours of sunshine a day. It is considered the sunniest ski destination between Latemar and Rosengarten. This is sure to delight sun worshippers. Skiing through the glittering snow-covered Dolomites beneath bright sunshine— a ski holiday in Carezza makes for unforgettable memories.

It is no coincidence that Carezza Ski is also called the “King of the Dolomites.” Here, you can enjoy a truly regal ski holiday. And the stresses of everyday life soon fade away amid the Italian way of life.
