Family Ski Holidays in Toggenburg
Toggenburg is considered the largest winter sports area in eastern Switzerland. Its hiking trails are among the most beautiful in all of Switzerland. Adventure stories, myths and legends are revealed on a hike along the Toggenburg Legends Trail. It is located on the Alp Selamatt in Alt Johann. Like something out of a fairy tale, Toggenburg is hidden behind seven mountains. It lies between the seven peaks of the Churfirsten and majestic Mount Säntis, which rises to 2,502 m. Zurich and Lake Constance are only about an hour away.
The extensive range of sports on offer means there’s never a dull moment. Skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and hikers will all find something to enjoy. There’s also plenty to experience during the warmer seasons.
Holidaymakers can look forward to 60 km of impeccably groomed pistes and 19 modern lifts and cable cars. The wide slopes of the Obertoggenburg ski circuit offer ideal terrain for carving. The facilities in the Neckar and Thur valleys are more compact. This varied ski area leaves nothing to be desired.
The Snowland Funpark in Wildhaus gives snowboarders and freeskiers a real thrill. After spectacular jumps, it’s time to celebrate at the legendary Boarderbar. Wildhaus offers what is probably the largest après-ski scene.
