Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski holiday with alpine hut charm
About 200 kilometres of groomed pistes for all ability levels and 55 ski lifts await winter sports enthusiasts. It’s not just skiers who find their snow paradise here in the Kitzbühel Alps in the Pinzgau region. Snowboarders, freeskiers and cross-country skiers are also increasingly drawn to this popular ski area in Austria. It lies on the slopes along the Glemmtal valley in the Salzburg region.

Together with Leogang, Saalbach Hinterglemm is part of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang Ski Circus. Intermediate runs are located on the Kohlmannskopf, in the north of the Glemmtal valley. This is also where the world-famous downhill course from the 1991 World Championships is found.
Visitors can relax in the almost car-free ski resorts. Night owls can enjoy the lively après-ski scene. There’s always something going on—not only at the mountain huts, but on the slopes, too. After sunset, the night comes alive on the floodlit pistes, for example at the Schantei lift in Leogang, or at the fun park in Hinterglemm.
The Saalbach Hinterglemm area is home mainly to larger hotels, while Leogang has a cosier feel. It’s ideal for a family holiday with children. The little ski bunnies will have plenty of fun in Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang, too. There are also lots of great discounts for kids on a ski holiday, especially during the upcoming Easter season.
