Snowboard Event in the Kleinwalsertal
On February 16, the sky over the Kleinwalsertal will light up brightly. The Iron Night at Chrystal Ground kicks off at around 5 p.m. The snowpark is in Riezlern, in the Allgäu Alps of the Kleinwalsertal. Freeskiers, snowboarders, and other winter sports fans can hardly wait for the competition. This goes for spectators and competitors alike. The “Iron Night” highlight of the “Wir Schanzen Tour” is very popular. Everyone gets their money’s worth at this cult event.

The Iron Night is an exciting snowboard and freeski competition. Riders can win up to 400 TTR points—points toward the Swatch TTR (Ticket to Ride) Snowboard Tour and the “Wir Schanzen Tour.”
The number of spectators and participants at the Iron Night grows every year. This hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Swatch TTR Snowboard Tour organizers, so the Iron Night has been included among the select TTR events.
This competition is sure to feature spectacular jumps once again. Many events are expected to mark the 5th anniversary. The action really heats up at the absolute highlight, the “Best Trick Contest,” which takes place shortly before the awards ceremony. This is where the wheat is separated from the chaff.
