On Monday, 21 January 2008, the kids will also be in the spotlight. In the morning, they will climb aboard the enormous balloons and see the world from a new perspective. If the weather is unfavourable, the launch will be postponed until Wednesday.

21 January also promises fantastic visual highlights at the “Fire & Ice” event. Hot air balloons, fire shows and illuminated ice sculptures will light up the darkness of the night. From around 8 pm, visitors can enjoy delicious drinks. The excitement continues over the following days, too.

The BP Gas Alpine Trophy programme features spectacular lighting effects, including fireworks. The sight of the hot air balloons taking off is truly impressive. They lift off at the Zell am See cityXpress valley station and at Lechnerberg in Kaprun. The excitement builds even further when the motocross and snowmobile riders show off their stunts.

The BP Gas Alpine Balloon Trophy runs until 26 January. This fascinating spectacle in the ski holiday region is not to be missed.
