The Stanglwirt’s Weißwurst Party in Tyrol has become legendary. The Bio-Hotel is in Going am Wilden Kaiser. This is the 17th Weißwurst Party for 2,000 guests, taking place on January 17, 2008, at the Lipizzanerhalle in Going. Preparations are in full swing. Once again, many celebrities are joining the party.

Celebrity chef Alfons Schubeck and “Weißwurst star” Toni Holnburger are in charge of keeping guests at the Lipizzanerhalle in Going well fed. Once again, they will serve up a novel take on what is surely Bavaria’s best-known dish. The aim is to make “currywurst” appealing to even the most discerning palates. Speculating about the guest list has almost become a tradition. Ski ace Marc Giradelli and Ralph Schumascher are expected, as are couturier Werner Baldessarini and Gerry Friedle (DJ Ötzi). Many celebrities will be there in any case.
