Thermal Baths in the Ski Resort
This is how to enjoy a ski holiday: after an active day on the slopes, relax in pleasantly warm thermal waters. Skiers love to unwind in the thermal baths. But summer holidaymakers also appreciate the chance to relax in thermal waters after hiking, cycling or playing sports.
Majestic Alpine glaciers are reflected in the waters of Leukerbad Thermal Bath. The warm water is wonderfully relaxing. The panoramic views convey the tranquillity of nature. It’s a wonderful place to unwind after physical activities.
Leukerbad in the Swiss canton of Valais offers an extensive range of thermal baths, with 22 pools. Guests can relax here 365 days a year. With 10 heated pools, the “Burgerbad” is probably the largest thermal bath complex in the Alps. A comprehensive wellness offering is just as standard here as it is at the “Lindner” thermal spa.
Rupertus Thermal Bath is in Bad Reichenhall, in the Berchtesgadener Land region. Breathtaking Alpine peaks rise into the sky above this light-filled wellness oasis. You can gaze at the mountains while relaxing in the delightfully warm thermal waters. But it’s not just the water’s restorative effects that are beneficial. The Alpine brine it contains also strengthens the respiratory system and helps protect against viruses.
Hiking and skiing in the crystal-clear mountain air amid the picturesque Alpine scenery is a wonderful experience in Bad Reichenhall. Famous ski resorts are also close by, and the Mozart city of Salzburg is not far away either.
The “Aqua Dome” in Längenfeld, Austria, is a fascinating world: a thermal spa complex covering almost 50,000 square metres. The “Gletscherglühen” sauna highlight alone spans 2,000 square metres. Atmospheric lighting in the vast sauna area relaxes the senses. Cascading ice in the glacier cave offers a refreshing cool-down.
The indoor thermal spa area enchants visitors with underwater music and the scent of fountains. The impressive Alpine panorama can be admired from here, too. The Aqua Dome’s outdoor thermal spa is set in a beautiful garden. The panoramic views of the Alpine peaks are even more breathtaking outdoors.
Längenfeld itself has 60 km of cross-country ski trails and beautiful, long hiking paths. Six toboggan runs are partially illuminated at night. And the famous ski resorts of Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl are close by.
