Tirol:08 Winter Cup kicks off in Sölden
The Tirol:08 Winter Cup for young people and children who love football is about to get underway. The action starts on October 27 in Sölden. Young players from four age groups can show their passion and talent. Adult teams can also take part. More than 300 participants compete in each tournament. The event is a chance to prepare for the 2008 European Championship. Innsbruck is expected to host the Winter Cup final in April 2008.

Elite athletes and Olympic champions were quick to answer the call. The casinos in Innsbruck, Kitzbühel and Seefeld are sponsoring the Winter Cup.
