Adidas Natventure Trophy

The Adidas Natventure Trophy will be held in the Tyrolean Oberland for the first time. On September 1 and 2, 2007, an “Adventure Race” will take place in Ried im Oberinntal, with two classes. In the “Master” and “Challenger” classes, teams compete together in a wide range of outdoor sports. These disciplines include mountain biking, trail running, canyoning, swimming, rafting, rope activities and inline skating. No prior experience in the specialist disciplines is required.

In the Master class, participants must cover 100 kilometers and climb 4,000 meters. For those who find that a little too demanding, the Challenger class offers a shorter course of 50 kilometers and 1,000 meters of elevation gain.
The first Adidas Natventure Trophy was held in Mittenwald, far away, in 2006. The feedback after the first event was so positive that organizer Robert Pollhammer decided to expand the concept to other regions. The Tyrolean Oberland proved to be a beautiful location for a second race. “The Tyrolean Oberland Tourist Board is fully behind the event. The natural surroundings and sporting opportunities are exceptional. The conditions couldn’t be better,” the organizer is convinced.

A special feature of the first Adidas Natventure Trophy in the Tyrolean Oberland: for the first time, the race in the Tyrolean Oberland will offer the new “Guide Cup” as a special prize. This cup is a perpetual trophy for the fastest two-person team (men, women or mixed) in the Master class, consisting exclusively of guides from the many outdoor companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
