Skiing and Golf in Zell am See
The Ski and Golf World Championship in Zell am See has just come to an end. Skiing and golf professionals from around the world, as well as amateurs with a good handicap, were invited. More than 100 participants from 10 different countries took part in the major event in Zell am See. Gudrun Zuleder from Austria won the women’s competition, while Oswald Hochfitzer was the overall winner in the men’s competition.

The Ski and Golf Olympics aren’t the only event drawing sports enthusiasts to Salzburger Land. The Zell am See European Sports Region offers a wide range of sports in both summer and winter. Golf is one of the majestic sports that perfectly complements the surroundings. During a golf holiday, the majestic 3,000-metre Kitzsteinhorn glacier offers breathtaking panoramic views. Even on the hottest days on the golf course, the snow paradise can be seen in its white winter coat.
