David Guetta will come to Sölden

Sölden ski resort, which has the reputation of "the snowiest resort in Austria" and which traditionally hosts the first stage of Alpine Ski World Cup, may also be considered as the most rave area in the Alps. Anyway, this spring Sölden will deservedly bear this title as here will come the â„–1 DJ in the world - David Guetta.

The legendary Frenchman, who became famous for such hits as Just a Little More Love and The World is Mine, will be the main star of the Electric Music Festival, which will take place in Sölden from 9 to 21 April. This long electro marathon will be a kind of bright "curtain", which will mark the end of the 2011/2012 ski season.

David Guetta will play his set in Sölden on April 9. His performance will be quite unique as it will take place on the Rettenbach glacier at the famous Gletscher Arena located at an altitude of 2670 meters above the sea level. Electric Music Festival was named "the most high-altitude music event in Europe".

David Guetta will not be the only front man, who will "fire the night" on the slopes of Sölden. On April 19 on one of the last days of the festival in Sölden will also perform Dany S, Tara McDonald and others. Festival organizers promise to create the atmosphere of hot Ibiza on the snowy slopes of Sölden.

It should be noted that for the ski resorts in Austria Electric Music Festival will not be the only electro festival in spring. Another large-scale event promises to be the Snowbombing Festival in Mayrhofen, which will gather such stars as Dizzee Rascal and Fat Boy Slim.
