Numerous French, Swiss, Austrian and Italian ski resorts are still unable to open all its tracks while waiting for snow. However, according to meteorologists’ forecasts, all fans of winter sports still have the hope.

Some of the best conditions for skiing this February will be in Austria, where at ski resorts there is still a lot of snow because of the numerous glaciers. Also this region often experienced snowfalls that bought a long-awaited joy for winter sports enthusiasts.

Ski resorts in Switzerland and Italy are not in the best condition, and some centers cannot open their tracks due to the lack of snow. Nevertheless, most ski areas, especially in mountainous areas of Italy and Switzerland, are in good “snow condition” and regularly receive tourists.

Changed weather conditions and decrease of temperature significantly improved situation at the ski resorts in Scotland, where currently opened all the centers and tracks are well covered with snow.

One of the most deplorable situations at ski resorts of Europe is observed in France. Many French ski resorts are still closed while waiting for snow. Nevertheless, the situation could change significantly as the decrease of temperature allows maintaining a satisfactory state tracks with the help of the artificial snow in more than 70% of the ski centers. Currently the deepest snow in France is observed at following resorts:

Lifts in Courchevel will be adapted for the children
