For the upcoming 2010-2011 ski season a number of ski resorts in Italy have updated its infrastructure. Among them are such well known throughout the world ski regions as Kronplatz, Cortina, Alta Badia and others.

Kronplatz will please in the coming season by the new Gipfelbahn lift - a luxurious 10-seater gondola with heated seats, which will work on the main resort of the Brunece region.

One of the resorts of Val Gardena - Ortisei - will also get a new Rasciesa lift, which will replace the old one-seat lift. The lift will carry skiers to the ski area of Seceda.

Cortina d'Ampezzo - infrastructure of this world-famous Bohemian spa resort will gain Roncato/Socrepes lift, which will serve the tourists on the Tofan slope. Capacity of the new lift will be 1800 persons per hour.

Alta Badia - here is welcomed the new four-seat Pre Ciablun lift, which will connect the top of Arlara with the area for recreational skating Braia Fraida. In addition, another four-seat lift in Alta Badia will replace the old three-seat.

Ski resort of Padola in Val Comelico this season will be included in the region of Alta Pusteria.

Henceforth, the new six-seat lift will be able to carry up to 1700 people at the ski resort of Brixen.

Modernization of Italian ski resorts will touch also special shuttle routes, delivering skiers to the ski lifts and slopes. The number of buses will be increased.
