A Swiss company Iglu-Dorf is famous for its so called Igloo Villages built in Engelberg, Gstaad, Davos-Klosters, Zermatt and Zugspitze ski areas in the beginning of the ski season. This year the company is planning to add new location, this time in the Pyrenees - at Grandvalira in a small highland country Andorra, situated between Spain and France and well known for its great skiing and shopping possibilities.
The new Igloo Village will be located at least at 2.300 meters above the sea, thus, providing excellent views of enclosing mountains. There will be assembled six ice-and-snow palaces where visitors can stay overnight or just to have some drinks at the Igloo Bar. For an overnight stay there are two choices available – standard and romantic igloos, the latter have jacuzzis installed. The Igloo Villages built in previous years proved to be rather popular, so those who want to enjoy a weekend in a snow palace should make a booking in advance. Reservations are made at Iglu-Dorf’s website - www.iglu-dorf.com/.
