Easter Ski Vacation Boom in Austria

Of course, Easter has always been one of the most beautiful and most popular religious holidays after Christmas. It is the holiday that unites many families. However, someone wants to spend it the other way, in the slopes, for instance. And have you already made up your mind where to spend your Easter vacation? Anyway, you should consider Austria as well.

The good start of a season this winter seems to go on as people are still booking their holidays on the slopes. A survey that took place in Austria showed that this spring Easter tourism in Austria will be much higher than it was the previous year. Almost all the ski resorts are completely booked up for the Easter period. The number of overnight stays has risen by 7 per cent from November to January. This is explained by the excellent snow conditions in the country’s ski resorts this winter.

Holidaymakers who prefer other kinds of mountain sports, will also be offered many interesting things to do during their Easter holidays. I.e in the lower mountain regions of the country they will be able to practice hiking, cycling and walking. The admirers of the city vacation will also find many interesting things to entertain in Austrian cities as they are welcome there as well.
