The previous ski season was one of the worst ski seasons during the decades for Andorra. The number of skiers was greatly reduced because of the lack of snow at Andorra’s ski resorts. More over, many of its resorts had to close two weeks earlier than it was planed. However, this year Andorra is not intended to give up and it invested a great amount of money into ski industry that is one of the main financial spheres of the country. More over, the weather forecast is also very good for the country as snow started to fall here in November.

Soldue, the primary ski resort of Andorra was totally upgraded and now it has the status of high class ski resort. There were also built new hotels and the old ones were renewed.

Andorra offers great skiing conditions. It is also known for its capacity to produce enough artificial snow to cover up to 40 per cent of ski areas. There are nearly 1,000 snow cannons per place to produce manmade snow, however, they still hope that they won’t be in often use. One of the main aims of Andorra is to please its skiers and to make their trip to Andorra’s slopes unforgettable.

More over, Andorra is going to have 450 ski instructors that will work in seven of its resorts. Besides, there will be 4 crèches, so now it is possible to have family ski vacation in Andorra.
