It is still autumn in Breckenridge, CO and the leaves of aspen are still changing their green color of leaves to gold, yellow and red in the Colorado Mountains. However, there is little time left before Arapahoe Basin and Loveland Ski Area will open their ski and snowboard season. The reason for this was the snowfall that took place there September, 18. The snowfall was rather heavy and that fact gave a hope for early opening of the ski season this year.
According to the local resort spokesman Nicky DeFord, if the snowfall is going on, then this gives a hope for a great snow year in Colorado. And this means that it will be a good skiing season then.
