Three new trails will appear this winter at Heavenly Mountain resort located on the boundary of California and Nevada, near South Lake Tahoe. Two runs will be situated in Ski Ways Glades and the third one in Powderbowl Woods. The trails in Ski Ways glades are designed for advanced skiers and snowboarders and marked as black diamonds and the Powderbowl Woods trail is marked as a blue square (intermediate level).
Heavenly ski resort management does the best to take into consideration its guests’ concerns and wishes so they can enjoy terrific skiing experience and wonderful vistas of Lake Tahoe. The new runs will debut as part of 10 years general plan of resort’s development that was endorsed in the spring of 2007. Blaise Carrig, Heavenly's chief operating officer, said: “This winter guests will expect more improvements including new gladed trails in Ski Ways and the re-grading of Skyline Trail, which is the biggest little project at Heavenly in terms of its positive impact on the guest experience.”
