This attractive holiday home dates back to the XVIII century and underwent renovation work in 2005. The original architecture of this mountain property was retained and brought to light.The residence is subdivided into three totally independent dwellings. Each apartment is authentic and unique either due to its decoration (original antique wood furniture), or to its history. Located on the ground floor, this is a good-sized one room apartment (approximately 60 m²) with a beamed ceiling. Built from the former stables, the original animal manger can still be seen. The orginals characteristics were kept, therefore it is possible that it is a little bit less luminous. The house is situated in the old Alpine town of Usseaux. The property is a good base for diverse walking, bike and snow-shoe trails. Fans of skiing will enjoy being in close proximity to the site of the 2006 winter Olympics. Sestrières with its 90 km of ski-runs, is a mere 18 km away, while Pragelato is 7 km away. A car is needed to reach both of the resorts mentioned. The car can be parked on the free public car park situated at about 80 to 100m from the house. Usseaux village is unique thanks to its myriad of winding pedestrian streets and antique buildings.The perfect holiday spot in any season!
