Ice Climbing

Ice climbing is a kind of a winter sport that requires a high level of endurance and will and can be exercised on frozen waterfalls, for instance. Ice climbing is especially popular in such countries likr Austria, Switzerland, Russia and the Nordic countries such as Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia. There is no special preparation for this winter sport. During the winter holidays one can find the secured travel providers who offer climbing of a very slight degree of difficulty. Ice climbing includes many hazards such as falls. Sometimes they can be really dangerous for life.

Ice climbing has not the competitive character as first of all it depends on caution and prudence. So, there are no world championships or whatever. The equipment should essential because this allows reducing the unnecessary weight as a dangerous depletion of this result. It is reasonable to take some hot beverages (like tea) and meal with you.
