Swiss Valais skiing holidays
Zermatt, Saas Fee, Crans-Montana, Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Verbier are well-known Valais ski resorts. With these places Valais is ranking among important Swiss ski-regions.
Ski tourists are moving at 3000 m levels in nine ski-regions and many skiing areas. Valais ski resorts are additionally providing kilometre long very well-tended cross-country ski runs.
Bettmeralp is situated 1950 m above sea level. This town is quiet and car-free. Zermatt is car-free as well. Zermatt's tourist feature is the Alps' biggest viewing platform, the mountain top lift in the rocks. Valais tourists' important center is Crans-Montana. Ski-runs and lifts are also well prepared to cope with the big rush.
All in all Valais is very well-known for its fantastic winter wonderland. Here snowshoe runs, luge or tobogganing are quite as favoured as racy ski-runs.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
