Ski vacation - confidential tip Lombardy
Lombardy is considered as a confidential tip to favourable ski vacation in Italy. It is between the Alps and the Po- Ebene. Although Lombardy skiing area doesn’t belong to the best known ones it is worthwhile to book a ski vacation there.
One well known winter sports area is Madesimo on the border between Switzerland and Italy. Madesimo is a very demanding skiing area with its 50 km runways. Just younger ski- and snowboard fans find in Madesimo favourable prices and an exciting „Apres Ski“ .
By the way, speaking about Apres ski: not far from Saint Moritz, indeed, in more solar-spoilt llombard Alps Livigno is located.
You will not forget the places with runways for world championships like Bormio, one of the most famous lombard winter sports places of Italy or the snowy-spoilt Santa Caterina (see Caterina).

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
