Super Ski Card in the Salzburger Land
Many skiing areas are asking to be chosen for a Salzburger Land ski vacation. Favoured skiing resorts are for example Abtenau, Bad Ischl, Dorfgastein, Saalbach Hinterglemm, St. Martin and Kleinarl.
E. g. Kleinarl is providing 1,5 km of floodlight pistes for all - then also night time will be used for ski-runs over there. However, Kleinarl is not half bad. Stylish restaurants or après-ski taverns are waiting for tired skiers after their runs. Several pubs, inn clubs and discotheques are providing entertainment.
Bad Ischl on the other hand is rather decent with 65 km of medium to lower difficult ski-runs - but in exchange there are around 200 km of cross-country ski-tracks. You will go by bus from Ischl to 20 skiing areas all in all.
Gasteital's Dorfgastein is favoured by wellness fans. The thermal springs of Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein are considered as wellness attractions. Special kick: The ski swing from Dorfgastein to the adjoining Grossartal. All in all Dorfgastein provides ski-runs with up to 170 km.
The region has issued the Salzburger Super Ski Card appropriate for using ski-lifts all over the Salzburger Land.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
