Seven fantastic holiday destinations are found right in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. With an average of over 8.5 m of snow and more than 300 annual days of sun, the ski areas Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone Resort, Copper Mountain, Loveland and Arapahoe Basin are among the best ski areas in the world. The ski areas offers a total of over 790 kilometres of pistes. With over 50% challenging pistes and the famous unprepared bowls, even good skiers will break a sweat. Vail is the largest ski area in the region and has a nearly endless selection of off-piste possibilities. However, the other ski areas offer perfectly equipped snow parks, wide leisurely runs and steep and challenging pistes, providing just the right thing for everyone.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
