With the lift pass "Saastal" you will find 145 km of piste of all levels of difficulty waiting for you! Located between 1,483 and 3,600 m altitude the Saas Valley, surrounded by eighteen 4,000er peaks, offers 3 ideal ski areas. Due to their high location these ski areas are known to be snow sure, so you can enjoy winter sports fun to the fullest. Between Hohsaas and Saas-Grund for example, you can find the 15 km long descent, which is the the longest of the entire area. The two snow parks in Saas-Fee and Saas-Grund offer boarders a good selection of attractions to spend a grand day. Further there are some flood lit pistes and also some challenges for experts. Diversity is a main focus in the Saas Valley, so you will find other sporty alternatives, such as ice climbing or winter hiking which round off your holiday perfectly.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
