Sondrio
The ski region Alta Valtellina comprises Livigno, Bormio, Santa Caterina and Valdidentro. The skier's paradise Livigno offers 115 km of piste and 30 lift systems. With its perfectly prepared slopes on both sides of the resort, it lies sheltered in a basin not far from the Swiss boarder. Wide pistes, mostly above the tree line, create perfect downhill skiing possibilities. The largest offer of slopes is to be found between Carosello 3000 and Vetta Blesaccia. Due to its close proximity to Switzerland, a trip to St. Moritz is recommendable. Bormio, Valdidentro and Santa Caterina together offer more than 100 km of piste and 39 lifts. Here you will find high snow security between 1,225 m and 3,012 m altitude, also due to various snow-making systems, which ensure you lots of skiing fun on world-class pistes.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
