Bavarian Forest
The Bavarian Forest is one of the most popular winter sports areas in Germany, offering everything winter sports fans desire. The snow-sure region offers a total of over approx. 56 kilometres of piste, covering all skill levels in 11 ski areas. 41 modern lifts bring you quickly to the peak. Particularly well known is the ski area around the Arber, the Bavarian Forest's tallest mountain at 1,456 m. The St. Englmar ski areas also offer good winter sports conditions. Cross-country skiers can enjoy excellently prepared tracks, which run through the Bavarian Forest Nature Park's unique landscape. Diverse ski schools introduce beginners to the world of ski sports, while boarders can prove their skills in the fun parks.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
