Romantic forest runs, untouched deep snow slopes, steep mogul pistes and first-class fun parks - this is Les Portes du Soleil, the "gateway to the sun"! The widespread ski region between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc entices you to do day tours, the cosy ski huts to linger. With 650 km of pistes and 207 lifts, the ski region of colossal proportions is one of the largest in the world! Twice a week you can ski in Les Crosets on over 20 km of lit pistes up to 22:00 h. There is also the largest fun park and boarder park on the Swiss side located here, with a half-pipe and several (big) jumps. Along with the sun side Super Châtel, the partial lift pass Châtel (40 lifts) mainly offers wide, easy runs as well as a fun park and a boarder park with a half-pipe. Avoriaz, at a snow-sure altitude, is the meeting point of the boarding scene with an extensive range of activities for night owls.
