This means that ultimate fun in the snow can be had on nearly all of the pistes in the Salzburger Land. Whether a generously planned ski area with an international reputation or a smaller, more familiar winter sports town, modern and comfortable gondolas and lifts lead to cared-for pistes for all abilities. Included are the well-known ski areas of Kitzbühel and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, as well as the whole Salzburger Sports World and the Zillertal arena. According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
