The Europa Sport Region in the Salzburger Land offers a ski holiday with a variety of choices. In the three ski areas of Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe you have the choice between 134.5 km of piste serviced by 56 modern lifts. Whether beginner or professional, you're in for some great skiing. The Maiskogel ski area, with its broad blue runs, is great for families. Here, at the Maiskogelköpf lift, you'll find the longest descent of the ski region (7 km). The Kitzsteinhorn a great for beginners and cruisers looking for runs of easy to middle difficulty. Advanced skiers tend to flock to the Schmittenhöhe area, whose 4 km long Trass descent is the most difficult in the Europe Sport Region. Freeriders will also enjoy the bumps and the off-piste area under the Sonnkogel lift. With the Salzburg Super Ski Card you'll have additional access to over 2,000 km of piste in 22 ski areas, including the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm, the Kitzbühel ski region and the Salzburger Sportwelt.
