The Achensee region includes approx. 53 km of piste with 18 mountain railways at an altitude between 930 and 1,834 m. Each of the 3 resorts has their own ski areas: Christlum near Achenkirch has 25 km piste, Rofan near Maurach has 14 km piste, and Zwölferkopf near Pertisau has 14 km piste. The largest ski area is near Achenkirch at Christlum and has wide, middle level piste for pleasure skiers. The Rofan ski area, just beyond Maurach, offers especially sunny runs and is ideal for beginners. The deep powder snow and freerider area on the Seekar and Rofan peaks are also available. Zwölferkopf near Pertisau boasts a fantastic panoramic view of the lake. Experts can use the black runs that stretch 3 km from Zwölferkopf down. In addition, all three sites offer excellent ski area tours.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
